Self-guided tour from Lahti

From Lahti for a couple of days of Puotirundi!

Lahti > Hämeenlinna > Alvettula > Laitikkala > Pälkäne > Luopioinen > Isosaari > Padasjoki > Vääksy > Lahti, 272 km

First take a drive from Lahti to Hämeenlinna and visit the craft house WIlla Vaski, a boutique run by the Vanajavesi region's journeymen's association, the Willa Gallery and the Vaski café.

From Hämeenlinna head to Alvettula, where you can stay overnight in the charming Bobacka pihatorppa farmstead. This idyllic, peaceful accommodation is located in the countryside in the atmosphere of a hundred-year-old farmstead. Well-equipped apartments for two and 4-5 people.

Near-by there's a versatile tourist farm, Suttisen Tila, where you can enjoy a meal in the café, shop at the local food shop and craft shop, and enjoy treats at the ice cream kiosk. The farm also has a stick horse track and a children's playground.

From Laitikkala go to Pälkäne, where you can explore the lovely Niitty-Seppälän Tila farm, which also has its own farm shop. In addition to its own berries and vegetables, other local products are also on sale. The farm also has a Kranssit.fi wreath supplies and wreaths point, where you can get good tips for making wreaths and wreath courses are also organized from time to time.

Pälkäne also has Spirraali - From Love to Wire! In Spirraali's atmospheric Puttiikki you will find good-natured gift items twisted from wire by hand, beautiful cards, intricate wreaths and personal interior texts to beautify your home! Spirraali also has a tasty Art Café, Noora makes all the cookies herself, and gluten-free options can also be enjoyed in the old, beautiful Nuijatalo.

Next we arrive at Luopioinen, where Hilma & Olga have a beautiful courtyard.

Hilma and Olga's selection includes Finnish handicrafts "from baby to grandpa", handicraft supplies and yarn.

From Luopioinen move to Isosaari Kesäkahvila, where you can enjoy, among other things, wall pancakes, tasty coffee and refreshments. Customer comments: "The homemade pastries were almost mouth-watering. The egg herring on the archipelago bread was absolutely the best. The wall pancakes were wonderful with fresh strawberries." The café also has a small shop selling souvenirs to take home and to friends.

To the Padasjoki countryside, to the Keinuhongan Tila farm. The farm shop sells beef, as well as other local food and microbrewery products. The farm also has the Suvimarja Lifestyle shop, where you can find interior design, clothing and accessories, as well as carefully selected delicacies. Suvimarja has a café and a summer restaurant where you can refresh yourself while shopping.

Before returning to Lahti, visit the Ranskalainen kyläkauppa in Vääksy, where you can enjoy a meal in the village store's café and shop for French fashion or interior design items.
