Self-guided tour from Oulu to the west coast south
Oulu > Raahe > Kalajoki > Pietarsaari > Vaasa
Starting from Oulu, the first stop is Raahe, where a cozy interior decor shop, Raahen Säde, is housed in a beautifully renovated old kiosk building. The selection at Raahen Säde includes restored antique furniture, vintage tableware, old lamps, home decor items, gifts, and art, as well as delicious pastries from a local home baker.
From Raahe we drive to Kalajoki, where it is worth visiting Hiekkasärkät and there is also Tiina's versatile shop, Shop By Tiina. In the shop you will find Tiina's own products and crafts, including jewellery. Finnish ecological cleaning products, candles, lovely women's clothing and decorations. You can also grab Kalajoki-themed products as souvenirs.
From Kalajoki we continue to Pietarsaari, where the Skorpan café is located in a charming red wooden house from the 18th century. Here you can enjoy coffee with various delicacies in a lovely environment. You can also buy fresh bread to take with you!
Then the journey continues to Vaasa, Sisustus Säde is a boutique full of atmosphere in the center of Vaasa. The shop is small and cozy, full of wonderful interior design products, delicacies and gift items. Säde's style could be described as Scandinavian, rich, modern, stylish, colorful and a little romantic.
